Recording features

1296p video at 30 frames per second, marketed as 2K.
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to help balance bright and dark areas.
Automatic recording when connected to your vehicle's power supply.
Loop recording replaces older regular footage when the card is full.
G-sensor emergency recording stores event footage separately.
Selectable video segments of 1, 2 or 3 minutes.

Wi-Fi and optional voice control

Use the KAWA AUTO app for iOS or Android to view live footage, play recordings and download videos over the camera's Wi-Fi connection. Configure the app while parked.

Choose the Voice Control version for commands to take photos, lock video and control audio, Wi-Fi and hotspot functions. Listed languages are English, Russian, Japanese and French. Voice commands work only after exiting the app. The NO Voice Control version does not include this feature.

Power and parking mode

The MINI 3 uses a supercapacitor rather than a lithium-ion battery and requires an external power supply. The listed operating temperature range is −20°C to 65°C.

Impact-triggered parking recording requires a compatible Type-C hardwire kit, sold separately, and a constant power supply. Operation depends on correct installation and available power.
